The three jewels of the buddha
One complementing the next
The search for one leads to the other
And thus the prayer begins
The ceremony starts with the drums
Resounding through the depths of silence
All that's unpleasant slither away
There is a hollow feeling
Harps follow the rhythm of the mind
All who seek shall find
Maybe not today
But the prayers they grow
The horns blow sharp
The mantra flags flap vigorously
The bells they guide you
Silence is nearer
Maybe today is the day
Am I really here?
Or he who hides beneath the obvious?
The drums they grow louder
The horns reach the crescendo
Together the calling is for the ultimate
Only those who seek shall find
Maybe today is really the day
The three jewels of the buddha
One complementing the next
The search for one leads to the other
And finally to the one
Only those who seek shall find
