The Story of the Three Monks

Shivapuri - 9/11/2019 The Story of the Three Monks What is divine, shall remain in her divinity. What is mystery, shall remain a mystery. Deep in the forest. Forever Untouched. So it starts. Step after steps of leaving the world the behind. Nothing is for free. One choice leading to another. The law of receiving and giving. The air is full of silence from the night. Even my breath is disrupting the ways of the forest. My thoughts echo deep within the abyss of unknown. I wait. Sit by a flowing stream. The water is cold as the bedrock, as it washes through my being. I can feel the forest watching. Welcoming me with her silent gestures. I ask her, as I stop by these age old wilderness buzzing with her own spirit. Will you take my fear away? The watcher of the forest spoke to me. She said. She talked of the three monks. She said, meet them. I asked her, who shall I meet amongst them all?. She said, either of them. Half way through, I left with wonder; wonder for the forest, ...

The forest within!

Strolling through the forest, What is ahead, is left behind Steps after steps of thoughts dissolving into fear I am directly next to the buzz of the crickets The cracks of the woods Hidden away from the sun, the green world Dark but ancient Silent yet reslient Away are the temple bells and stupa drums The horns of the sacred echo resounding deep within I suddenly realise You see what your mind can see You hear what you want to hear Is it the questions you bring or you bring yourself? The door or the way back ? Deep within the mysterious forest lies Both the way out And the way within The doorway in or the way back? Deep within the mysterious forest lies Both the way out And the way within!
