What is more beautiful?

Picture taken from gettyimages!

What is more beautiful?
Flute or the drums
Hymn of the strings
The silence in your face
What comes before the thunder?
Oh for the love of life
The oneness in your eyes
How you move your feet?
I see you looking at me
When I see within
Sweet surrender that formless sky
Take me within, the clouds that cover up
Oh forgive me if I am drawn to your melody
I have only a moment to spare
Oh let me close my eyes

I bow
Oh you leave me with nothing
I bow
Oh you move me to the beats
I bow
Even with my eyes closed I can see
I bow
your grandeur is beyond
I bow
The words are not enough

What is more beautiful?
Nor the flute nor the drums
Hymm of the heavens
The smile in my face
Oh what comes before the thunder ?
Oh buddha of the buddhas
Let me taste what you have found
For I have only a moment to spare
Let me close my eyes
I bow
Oh buddha I want nothing
Only smile in my eyes
What comes before the thunder?
Just for the love of life
dear Buddha I don’t want Nirvana
Please let me close my eyes
I bow
What is more beautiful?
To the tears of joy
Oh let me close my eyes
Buddha of the buddhas I bow!

Medicina, Medicina!

Art by Luis Tamani, link below! All the emotions suppressed,  What happens as the layers reveal one by one?  As the events unfold  The truth undigested  The past in front of you like a mirror.  How long can you sustain a smiling face?  Doesn't it get tired after a little while?  A little lapse and you’re in the same loop once more.  The thin line between the worlds  Once the box is open there is no going back?  Or do you?  Hidden underneath your suppressed voices. It's the stories of the cultures. The cries of the civilizations  Thriving in the whispers  What do you do?  When strangers cross their paths?  Who is the first to initiate the contact?  Or who is the one who feels the need to?  So you see it is the stories of the cultures. All the emotions suppressed.  The thin line between the worlds  A little lapse and you're in the same loop once more.  How is it any different?  ...

Let me graze in my space..will you?

Panchpokhari, November 2021 Let me graze in my space  Leave me at peace And all will be well!  As it is supposed to be But then you want trouble Everyone wants trouble, no?  Don’t you? Not that they are wanted  But they come chasing anyways Somewhere around the bend Just when all the troubles were away Simply following the lead  Leads coming from wherever  Who knows  But there was a perfect day  No it was a perfect shade No no it was perfect time No no it was the air  The loss of sense of time  Or was it the dimness of the sun  Sitting by the foothills  All the stress magically dissolved away  Comfort sinking in even if for a bit  As coincidences coincide  It is a time when you can rejoice in simply being Participation mystique they say  But it is true what it is that they say  Yes let me graze in my space  Leave me at peace And all will be well!  As it is supposed to be But then you want trou...

My first Qigong and Taichi Session!

Luna in the middle followed by us practitioners on the sides! I was first surprised to find Taichi and Qigong public events at Couchsurfing. Even though not sure what to expect I decided to try it out because I have somehow always been appealed by the Taoist Philosophy. Having seen Taichi and Qigong flow movements in the movies and popular culture, I wanted to give it a try without a second thought. Thanks to the free session hosted by Luna and Nayeem! I visit Nagarjun forest/hill/region whenever I feel too clogged in the life within Kathmandu's hustle and bustle. The Nepal Yoga Home is located at the foothills of Nagarjun and at a picturesque location. In a way it is quite a place to host Taichi as well. Luna and Nayeem greeted me with gentleness and their warm presence. First off, Luna’s choice to practise outdoors was perfect. The fresh air outside was welcoming. And the view to the valley in the distance is a blessing in disguise. Even though I was the only one to show up at ...
