What is the purpose of life?

Oct, 2018 - Pokhara, Fewa Lake

What is our Purpose in life?
They say, “Children are the ones closest to the gods!”
The kids they know when to not know. To take that leap; to jump out into that lake.
What is our Purpose in life?

Actually the question of purpose and life
only bugs us after we start growing up.
The working hours do not make sense. Being bound by the societal structure we realize who we have come, to become.
We think we are loving, but we are so caught up on getting that attention going. Lost, and withdrawn, we realize we have traveled quite far from who we have a grip over.
Our source of that spontaneous self. The one that which is in all of us.
Only memories remain. So far, only back in time.

We all know how life should be, no?
What is your life’s purpose?
Till when will you wait for the answer?
Is it a destination that you never seem to reach?
Is it when you keep doing something you do not like?
Is it when you lie to yourself everyday?
Is it when you don’t listen to your inner voice that keeps whispering to you?
Is it what you are forced to do?
Is it so much of being in power that only corrupts?
Is it that greed which drives you mad?
It cannot be.
It never can be.

Lost in that quest of life, we go out into the nature. Watch the kids play. Stare at the clouds fly around. Play with the neighborhood dog. Go out of your boundary to talk to that stranger. How do you feel when you ask the questions that shakes your inner core? Maybe have that heart beating a little bit more.

Remind you of that inner self.
Oh what have you got left of that beautiful soul?
Torn apart in that false promises and repentance,
Oh don’t you see in the wonderful world that we have?
How does it feel to hold that anger in your heart?
How do you know when to not know?
To know when to close your eyes.
To feel the world when it comes to you!
What is the purpose of your life?
What if you take that jump?
Oh what can you do and not take that jump?
Do really want to live the rest of your life scared?
Are you that afraid of listening to yourself?
Actually what we do is we keep fooling ourselves, don’t we all?
If the kids really are the ones closest to the gods,
Maybe we should ask ourselves again!
What can we really do besides,
Listening to our own voice speak?

Medicina, Medicina!

Art by Luis Tamani, link below! All the emotions suppressed,  What happens as the layers reveal one by one?  As the events unfold  The truth undigested  The past in front of you like a mirror.  How long can you sustain a smiling face?  Doesn't it get tired after a little while?  A little lapse and you’re in the same loop once more.  The thin line between the worlds  Once the box is open there is no going back?  Or do you?  Hidden underneath your suppressed voices. It's the stories of the cultures. The cries of the civilizations  Thriving in the whispers  What do you do?  When strangers cross their paths?  Who is the first to initiate the contact?  Or who is the one who feels the need to?  So you see it is the stories of the cultures. All the emotions suppressed.  The thin line between the worlds  A little lapse and you're in the same loop once more.  How is it any different?  ...

Let me graze in my space..will you?

Panchpokhari, November 2021 Let me graze in my space  Leave me at peace And all will be well!  As it is supposed to be But then you want trouble Everyone wants trouble, no?  Don’t you? Not that they are wanted  But they come chasing anyways Somewhere around the bend Just when all the troubles were away Simply following the lead  Leads coming from wherever  Who knows  But there was a perfect day  No it was a perfect shade No no it was perfect time No no it was the air  The loss of sense of time  Or was it the dimness of the sun  Sitting by the foothills  All the stress magically dissolved away  Comfort sinking in even if for a bit  As coincidences coincide  It is a time when you can rejoice in simply being Participation mystique they say  But it is true what it is that they say  Yes let me graze in my space  Leave me at peace And all will be well!  As it is supposed to be But then you want trou...

My first Qigong and Taichi Session!

Luna in the middle followed by us practitioners on the sides! I was first surprised to find Taichi and Qigong public events at Couchsurfing. Even though not sure what to expect I decided to try it out because I have somehow always been appealed by the Taoist Philosophy. Having seen Taichi and Qigong flow movements in the movies and popular culture, I wanted to give it a try without a second thought. Thanks to the free session hosted by Luna and Nayeem! I visit Nagarjun forest/hill/region whenever I feel too clogged in the life within Kathmandu's hustle and bustle. The Nepal Yoga Home is located at the foothills of Nagarjun and at a picturesque location. In a way it is quite a place to host Taichi as well. Luna and Nayeem greeted me with gentleness and their warm presence. First off, Luna’s choice to practise outdoors was perfect. The fresh air outside was welcoming. And the view to the valley in the distance is a blessing in disguise. Even though I was the only one to show up at ...
