Wake me up when September
ends!
I wake up. The dreams that I don’t dream. How can you sleep?
When you finally see, how can you unsee? The whole life you see is what skips. Skips in
an air of breath. The thump of your heart.
I wake up to the pull of the unknown. Wake up to the
stillness of the night, the music of the hymn. If I am not ready I am never going to be.
Life goes on. I feel that something is different. Just that
I don’t know.
It is September that time of the year again. When the rains
have just washed away of whats left. Call of the autumn and oh song of the
birds, please answer to me?
The dots that I can’t connect. The stars they only give me
clues. While I witness my life from a mountain top. Flying across the terrain I
just flow.
This is something different. I
have finally gotten your glimpse. Love that never ends. The river that never
dries. The songs that forever live. I bow to you.
All I am
All I do
All I do is close my eyes
Smile to the lessons you give
Dance to beats you make
Strings you strum
The lyrics you weave
Poetry you sing
Oh take me away
Take me away to where you live
Oh September
Be it october or november,
Please keep shaking me up,
Oh you wake me up when September
ends!
